Star Blast is an inclusive cricket program for kids 5 to 10 with additional needs. Kingsley Woodvale Junior Cricket Club has been running a Star Blast program for 5+ years, and is much loved by kids, parents, carers, and the community.

Autism Association of WA (AAWA) has a Come and Try day taking place at the WACA on the 21st of September 2024.

My Place Consumer, Abbigail, enjoys the creativity her work experience at the Burbridge School library has allowed her to express.

Her display has been admired by teachers and students, encouraging the exploration of books on peoples and their culture.

Key Word Sign Australia has created free 'signs to support reconciliation week' resource.

It includes important and topical key concepts and signs, including a new sign for 'Sorry Day'. Key Word Sign Australia would like to thank Joanna Agius from Deaf Aboriginal Services for helping us learn and understand the meaning behind this sign as we developed a new line drawing. HAPPY P&C DAY WA!
Today we say THANK YOU to our amazing P&C!!
Throughout WA P&Cs contribute so much to our schools. Your dedication and passion to help provide WA students with the outstanding educational experience they deserve is incredible. At last count, on average WA P&Cs donated an estimated total of almost $12 million and nearly 500,000 volunteer hours each year to Western Australian school communities. Today, we recognise and acknowledge that each hour volunteered and dollar donated helps ensure students across WA have an outstanding educational journey. We encourage school communities to get on board, share the P&C light, and let your local P&C know that you appreciate all the amazing things they do.
