This week in 3/4B, students have been learning about Division. They got to create their own diners with a certain amount of guests, they then had to figure out how many guests would sit at each table and if there were any left out (remainder). They did a great job!

This week is Bullying No Way: National week of action (17 to 21 August 2026).

At Koo Wee Rup Primary School, we believe that small acts have big impacts and ensure that bullying has no place.

This week students are participating in a range of activities that address bullying, kindness and belonging.

Mangia, mangia!
This week, as part of our learning about Italian mealtimes and food culture, our students enjoyed tasting a selection of traditional Italian speciality foods. It was wonderful to see so many students being brave and adventurous, trying foods they had never tasted before!

Happy Principals Day! 🍎✨

Today we're celebrating two amazing leaders at our school! To our new Principal Mrs Barker — thank you for jumping in with such energy, care, and vision since joining our school community. We're so excited for this new chapter with you leading our school!

And to our Assistant Principal Mrs McNaughton— thank you for your years of steady dedication, wisdom, and heart. Your experience and consistency have meant so much to our students, staff, and families.

Together, you make our school a better place every single day. We appreciate you both more than words can say! 💛

3/4W students loved spending time in the library, exploring books that sparked their curiosity and matched their individual interests. As they read, they eagerly discussed the new characters they met along the way, sharing their ideas, predictions and favourite moments with one another.

Congratulations to our Foundation students for completing 100 days of school! We celebrated the day by dressing in ‘bright’ colours and completing lots of fun ‘100’ themes activities!

Students in 1/2N have been having fun exploring the concept of multiplication this week.

2027 Foundation Transition starts next Wednesday 29th July (flyer attached).

Enrolment information was available at our open night, however if you know of anyone looking to enrol please ask them to contact the office for information.

Due to the Department of Education enrolment timeline, offers cannot be made until week commencing Augsut 3rd but students do not need to be enrolled to attend transition.

We look forward to seeing our newest students at school next week.
