On Tuesday, 25 August, we celebrated Book Week with a wonderful costume parade showcasing our love of reading and storytelling.

A huge thank you to all of the parents, families and community members who attended the parade and helped make the event so special. It was fantastic to see so many people joining us to celebrate.

Our students and staff looked incredible in their creative costumes, making it a very difficult task to select the prize winners. Congratulations to Ruby and Belle, who were awarded prizes for their outstanding costumes.

A special thank you to Jen Henderer for organising the prizes and helping to make the day such a success.

Last Friday, our Year 4-6 students travelled to Narrogin to compete in the hockey carnival. Throughout the day, they represented Kondinin Primary School with outstanding sportsmanship, enthusiasm and teamwork. We were incredibly proud of the way students encouraged one another, showed resilience and gave their best effort in every game.

A huge thank you to Ms Janna Lockyer and Mrs Jacinta Holmes for coaching our teams on the day. We would also like to acknowledge Ms Sarah Hockridge, Mrs Jacinta Holmes, Miss Nadia Mortimer and Miss Kat Collard for their dedication in training and preparing the students leading up to the carnival.

A special thank you to Mrs Jacinta Holmes for driving the bus and helping ensure the day ran smoothly.

Well done to all students for being such wonderful ambassadors for our school! 👏🏑💙💛

Yesterday, our students and staff at Kondinin Primary School proudly joined forces with the Shire of Kondinin to plant 300 trees along the Bush Trail. This fantastic community project not only helped enhance our local environment but also provided students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about sustainability, conservation and the importance of caring for Country.

It was wonderful to see everyone working together to make a positive impact on our local landscape. Each tree planted today will contribute to a healthier environment for future generations and help create a beautiful natural space for our community to enjoy.

A huge thank you to the Shire of Kondinin for partnering with us on this meaningful initiative and to our students and staff for their enthusiasm and hard work. We look forward to watching these trees grow and thrive in the years ahead! 🌳💚
