DNA Education was founded in 2011 with a mission to deliver affordable tuition in an enjoyable environment. Wishing all our students the very best as they undertake their NAPLAN assessments.

NAPLAN provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate the literacy and numeracy skills they have been developing in the classroom.

To help students perform at their best, we encourage them to:
• Get a good night’s sleep before each test
• Eat a healthy breakfast to support concentration
• Read each question carefully and manage their time thoughtfully
• Remain calm and approach each task with confidence

We are proud of all our students and wish them every success throughout the week.

Poor spelling?

Many kids struggle with spelling which can result from a multitude of reasons. Spelling requires a child to have great letter recognition, good short and long term memory, the ability to decode and recode words.

Some great tips for struggling spellers is to work on words children use in their writing rather than random lists of words although sight words appropriate for their age are great to learn. Learning basic spelling rules is essential as well. Such as “I” before “e” except after “c”.

Spelling is linked to academic success and fluency of reading. If you’re concerned with your child’s spelling, get in contact with us!!!
