Our nursery children love looking through the door and windows to watch the world outside, spotting birds as they flutter, perch, and explore. They also enjoy observing all the other exciting things happening outdoors, from changing weather to the cars on the busy road through the fence. These simple moments help children connect with nature, encouraging curiosity, observation, and a sense of wonder about the natural world—all from the comfort of their learning environment. 💚✨

Our little explorers love learning all about dinosaurs through play, stories, crafts, and discovery. Learning about dinosaurs helps children develop curiosity about the world around them, build new vocabulary, and explore concepts like science, history, and nature in a fun and engaging way. 🌎🦕

In our Pre-Kindy room, we are learning all about being kind friends and working together as a team! Through songs, stories, games, and everyday play, the children are discovering how classroom rules help keep everyone safe, happy, and ready to have fun. We are practising sharing, making smart choices, using kind words, and helping our friends clean up when they need it.
It has been wonderful to see the children building friendships, showing caring hearts, and creating a positive and welcoming learning environment together!

We are incredibly grateful to the PCYC for thinking of us and the MTA community for their generous donation of resources to our childcare centre. 💙
This thoughtful contribution is a wonderful reflection of the strong connections and relationships that exist within our community. It is through the support, kindness, and collaboration of community members that we can continue to create enriching opportunities for children to learn, play, and grow.
Thank you for investing in our children and for being such a valued part of our extended community. Together, we are building meaningful relationships and creating a positive impact for the families and children in our care. 🌟

As we conclude National Reconciliation Week, we reflect on the meaningful conversations, crafts, and learning experiences shared throughout the week. The children explored Indigenous culture, connection to Country, storytelling, art, and symbols through a range of hands-on activities and collaborative experiences.
These experiences encouraged respect, curiosity, and an appreciation for Australia’s First Nations peoples and cultures. We are proud to continue embedding reconciliation into our everyday practices and learning environments. ❤️🖤💛

Learning maths can be fun, colourful, and hands-on with an abacus! 🌈✨
Abacus play helps little learners build confidence with counting, number recognition, problem-solving, and fine motor skills — all while having fun. 🧮💡 It’s a wonderful way to encourage concentration, logical thinking, and a love of learning through play-based exploration!

We are so thankful to our local Redcliffe Fire Service for taking the time to visit our centre last Friday to teach the children all about fire safety! 🚒🔥
The children loved having a turn using the fire hose and aiming the water towards the garden — what an exciting hands-on experience! 💦🌱
These wonderful community connections create meaningful learning opportunities and help children build a strong sense of belonging within their local community. ❤️
