Here at Kippa-Ring State School, we are all on the countdown to the end of the school day, and to the start of the school holidays. It has been a crazy, busy term and we are all looking forward to two weeks of rest and relaxation.

Thank you to all of our amazing Kippa Community for your continued support throughout the term. You guys rock! 💙

We are still taking enrolments for Prep 2027 and across all of the other year levels. So, if you are still looking to enrol, could you please email: [email protected] or call 3897 5333 to leave a message, and our office ladies will be in contact when we return.

School resumes for Term 4 on Tuesday 6 October, as Monday is the King's Birthday public holiday. Have a great Spring break. Stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing everyone back and ready for an exciting last term.

Please be considerate of our neighbours and other vehicles when dropping your child/ren off at school each morning and collecting at the end of the day. Please do not park across driveways and take any rubbish home with you. Do not leave rubbish on the footpath or in gutters for our neighbours to clean up.

The speed limit is signed at 40kph between 7am to 9am and 2pm to 4pm each school day, so for the safety of our students and families, it is important to adhere to this speed limit during this time.

Our lollipop person is on duty at the Korsch Street crossing before and after school to help students cross the road safely, and students who need to cross the always busy Elizabeth Avenue should do so at the lights. We have had recent reports of students running across Elizabeth Avenue in front of traffic, and we ask parents/caregivers to speak to their children about the dangers involved in doing this.

If you have any concerns regarding parking around the school, ie parking in loading zones or in the disabled parking without a permit, the school unfortunately, DOES NOT have any authority in this matter. Please contact the council or the police for more serious matters.

For more information about parking and road rules, visit the Department of Transport and Main Roads website https://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/safety/queensland-road-rules

🌟🤸‍♀️ GOOD LUCK, EVA! 🤸‍♀️🌟

We’d like to wish Eva all the very best as she heads to the Junior State Championships at the Sleeman Sports Complex this Monday! 🏅✨

Eva has been doing an amazing job in gymnastics, recently placing 2nd on Vault and finishing an impressive 5th overall out of 23 competitors, with a fantastic score of 35.925/40! 👏💙

We’re so proud of all the hard work, dedication and determination she has put into her gymnastics. We hope she has a wonderful competition on Monday — fingers crossed and good luck, Eva! 🤞⭐

We’ll be cheering you on all the way! 🤸‍♀️🏆
