Reduce Fast Fashion- Buy preloved at our stall
Year 9 Collaborative Projects have been learning about the impacts of fast fashion, where clothes are being mass-produced quickly to keep up with ever-changing fashion trends, however, are discarded just as fast. With most clothing items worn just 7 times before ending up in landfill, this issue is having a huge global impact.
To help combat this issue, Year 9 have been sourcing second-hand clothing items in a bid to give them a new home. With lots of stock, some designer labels, and some items still with their original tags, Year 9 invite you to come shop at their market stall, "Say Yes to Less" on Tuesday 16th June, from 2.30pm - 4pm in the school Library.

Learning about the respiratory and digestive systems!
Our Year 11 Biology students got hands-on in the lab this week, conducting fish and rat dissections to explore and compare respiratory and digestive systems up close. This practical experience provides students the opportunity to move beyond the textbook and see firsthand how the systems they have been studying actually look and function in real organisms. Hands-on dissection activities like these help deepen understanding, build scientific skills, and prepare students for the types of investigations they will encounter in their HSC studies. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and curiosity in the lab! 🐟🐀
