🐣🎨 EASTER FUN IN THE BABIES ROOM! 💛🐰

Last week was all things Easter at LAK, and our little ones had so much fun getting creative! 🍫✨

The children explored painting Easter eggs 🥚 using their hands and tools, choosing their own colours 🎨🌈 and enjoying a wonderful messy play experience (the best kind! 😄🙌).

There were smiles, giggles, and lots of colourful creations as they explored textures and expressed themselves through art 💛🖌️

A beautiful sensory experience full of creativity, discovery, and Easter joy! 🐣🌸✨

🔢✨ NUMERACY FUN AT LAK! 🎲💛

Recently our preschoolers had a fantastic time exploring early math concepts through hands-on play with dominoes! 🎉

They practiced counting 🔢, number recognition, and matching as they carefully counted the dots, compared quantities, and found matching pairs 🎲🧠.

This fun experience also supported turn-taking🤝, problem-solving, and concentration—such important learning skills!

It was amazing to see their confidence grow as they recognised patterns and made connections all on their own 🌟👏. Learning through play really is the best way to build strong numeracy skills! 💛📚

What a hoppy time we had celebrating Easter at LAK! 🐣💛

The children enjoyed a variety of fun-filled activities, from exploring sensory trays 🐰✨ to getting creative with Easter painting and crafts 🎨🖌️. There were plenty of giggles during our egg & spoon races too—such egg-citing fun! 🥄🥚😄

It was a week full of laughter, creativity, and hands-on learning, with a little bit of chocolatey joy along the way 🍫🤭

🌸 April Events Are Here! 🐰✨

We can’t believe we’re already in April — the year is flying by! 💫 With so many exciting events and celebrations ahead, it’s set to be another fun-filled month at our centre.

Easter is just a few sleeps away 🐣🍫 We hope all our families are looking forward to spending quality time with their loved ones… and maybe not getting too chocolate sick! 😄

Throughout April, we’ll also be exploring and celebrating a range of meaningful events including World Autism Awareness Day, World Health Day, Nature Play Week, Earth Day, ANZAC Day, and so much more 🌏💛

🌈 March Highlights at Our Centre! 🌈

What a wonderful and meaningful month it has been! 💫

From celebrating Sea Week, World Hearing Day, and the colourful festival of Holi, to recognising important days like International Women’s Day, Harmony Week, and Global Recycling Day — March has been full of learning, culture, and connection.

Our children have explored a variety of experiences inspired by these special events, helping to build their understanding of the world around them while developing empathy, creativity, and a sense of belonging 💛
