Take a look at what the children at Young Einsteins made for Father's day! We celebrated Father's day today by inviting all our families to enjoy morning tea and hot drinks this morning. This helps strengthen our connections with families at our centre and families can create new connections with other families too. We wish everyone a lovely Father's day on Sunday.

Today we celebrated Book week. The toddlers dressed up in hungry caterpillar headbands and the kinders dressed up in Wonky donkey headbands/masks. We did a parade in the playground. It was a lot of fun!

Book week celebrates books and the excellent benefits of reading. Reading develops children's imagination, creativity, language, empathy, and so much more too.

Here at Young Einsteins, we provide diverse opportunities that facilitate children's creativity and imagination. The Kinder children at Young Einsteins love painting and drawing. Painting and drawing are different forms of media. Children can express themselves and communicate through these creative arts.

The Kinder children love making playdough. This week we tried making something called cloud dough. We mixed cornflour, conditioner, and water together. Then we added some pink food colouring. The children felt the soft texture of the dough and smelt the raspberry smell of the conditioner.

At Young Einsteins we provide diverse learning opportunities such as, messy play. These experiences can develop their fine motor skills, creativity, imagination, and so forth.

Here at Young Einsteins we prepare delicious plant based meals in our centre kitchen every day. Farus is our centre cook. Farus adds great flavour to her dishes. The children love them!

Farus not only cooks, but also spends time educating the nursery and toddlers. Farus has over 17 years experience in childcare. Farus is a gentle, kind, and patient educator.

In the Kinder room we have been learning about the Olympics. We have learnt about the colour of the Olympic rings and the different sports in the Olympics. Today, we made salt dough medals and baked them in the oven.

Here at Young Einsteins we provide a fun and engaging funded Kinder program. The program is taught by a full time Early Childhood Teacher.

Today the Kinder children made their own keyrings out of polymer clay. We baked the clay in the oven once the children finished creating their designs.

Take a look at what the toddlers did yesterday! The toddler room painted their hands the colours of the Aboriginal flag and put their hand prints on salt dough.
