The school opens at 8.30 am

Prep to Grade 6 classes begin at 8.55 am and finish at 2.55 pm

Recess break is from 11.00 until 11.20 am. Kinder hours:
Kinder A - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.55 am - 2.45 pm
Kinder B - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.55 am - 2.45 pm


The school office is open from 8.30 am – 4.00 pm

What a massive Week 7 we have lined up at Kingston Primary! Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Festival of Arts & Culture starts at 4 PM TODAY! 🎭🎨🎶

​Join us this afternoon for an evening of live music, student artwork, open classrooms, delicious food and much more! Admission is FREE, with delicious dinner options available to purchase on-site.

​🎶 Important Info:
During our GP Room concert sessions, all food stalls and classrooms will briefly pause so everyone can head inside and enjoy the performances. Everything will reopen right after each session!

​🍕 In-Between Entertainment:
Grab some freshly made dinner, explore our open classrooms, and catch additional live performances over in the Leppard Lounge between main stage sessions!

Huon & Channel Volleyball Carnival

Last week we had two teams of students proudly represent kingston at the volleyball carnival. Everyone had a fabulous day with both teams having lots of wins, a couple of draws and a few loses.

Everyone showed great sportsmanship and Kingston Team 2 played so well in the second half of the day that they came away as the Division 1 Winners!!!

Congratulations to the 8 students who participated in the Southern Schools Maths Relay today from Kingston Primary School.

For weeks, our students have been practising their mathematical and team communication skills in readiness for today’s event. A huge shout out to Mrs Rumley for her hard work preparing the students in maths extension.

Well done to all of our participants for an outstanding effort and for positively representing our school.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers for giving up their sunny Sunday morning to support the teams!

🌟 What a week ahead at Kingston Primary School! 🌟

We are so excited to welcome our school community for an incredible week of connection! We're kicking things off in style on Tuesday afternoon from 4 PM with our inaugural Festival of Art and Culture! This is a landmark first for Kingston Primary School, and we are thrilled to bring our whole community together for such a unique, celebratory event. If you missed the full schedule sent out earlier last week, don't worry—we will post it again shortly, so you don't miss a thing!

Another huge highlight in the week of community connection is our Father’s Day Breakfast this Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, where we can’t wait to celebrate all of our wonderful dads, granddads, and the special people in our students' lives for a fantastic morning together.

We can't wait to see you all throughout the week for these great events! ❤️

We had a wonderful first Pre-Kinder session today and loved welcoming so many new faces to our school community!

Our little learners enjoyed exploring the learning spaces, playing together and beginning to make new connections. It was lovely to see everyone settling in, having fun and getting a little taste of Kinder life.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another fun session together next week!
