Hi all, just a quick reminder:
All meet at the Kingborough Hub on Wednesday 3rd Dec, at 10am for our Presentation Day.
Starting time - 10am. Finish by 12 noon.
Students can leave straight after the presentation.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

R U OK? Day is happening this Thursday, 11 September.
This day is a reminder for us to create a culture where people feel confident asking and answering this simple yet important question - R U OK?
We encourage everyone to help create a space for open, supportive conversations and remind each other that we don’t need to wait for someone to reach out.
How you can take part:
• Take a moment to ask a colleague, friend, or loved one, “Are you OK?”.
• Remember to listen with an open mind.
• If someone says they are not ok, encourage action and offer support.

Our annual Indie Games went off without a hitch...and with more than a little fun and games. Students participated in numerous 'minute to win it' challenges, gaining points for the country they were representing. Many points were dished out for 'Did you know' facts about their chosen country, for making streamers and flags, singing their national anthem (no one took us up on this one) and even extra points for rolling the toilet paper back onto the roll (That's for you Katie).
A special thanks you to Tess for overseeing the events and handing out all the medals.
Training for 2026 has already begun!

It is with great happiness (for Sher, not us) that we wish Sher all the very best as she enters into retirement. On behalf of all staff and students at Indie, I'd like to express how grateful we are to have worked with Sher. It's been lots of laughter, cakes and guidance from Sher - helping steady the ship and always willing to jump in and lend a hand when needed.
Thanks for everything Sher, you will be missed!
