A day full of learning, laughter and unforgettable experiences at 🐨🦘

Our students had the incredible opportunity to be junior Zookeers for the day, creating enrichment activities for the animals, hand-feed some of the sanctuary residents, and take part in private shows and demonstrations with the amazing wildlife team.

An experience that inspired curiosity, compassion and a deeper appreciation for Australia’s unique wildlife 💚

This hands-on course is perfect for kids aged 11–16 who want to explore the exciting world of animal care. From training dogs to caring for shelter pets, it's a day packed with furry fun and real-world experience!

Students work through a range of hands-on components including:
• basic dog obedience training skills
• cat behaviour and handling
• small animal care
• vet care for shelter animals

Today we celebrated Harmony Day at our school, a beautiful reminder of the strength and richness found in our diversity 🧡
One of our leaders opened the celebration with a heartfelt speech, sharing what this special day means to her and encouraging us all to embrace inclusion, respect, and belonging. Her words set the tone for a meaningful and reflective day.
We then came together to enjoy a shared lunch, with staff contributing delicious dishes that represent a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate the many cultures that make up our school community.
Moments like these remind us that everyone belongs, and together we are stronger 💫

Spreading the Christmas love ❤️

Over the past term, a wonderful group of our Year 12 students has led a heartfelt toy drive, pouring their time, compassion, and leadership into helping others.

Today, we proudly delivered the donations to Hummingbird House, a children’s hospice facility.

The Hummingbird House provides extraordinary care, compassion, and support to children with life-limiting conditions and to the families who walk these journeys with unimaginable strength. Being able to offer even a small gesture of comfort and Christmas joy to these families is truly an honour.

A heartfelt thank-you to every student, family, and staff member who contributed. Your kindness makes a real difference. ❤️🎁🎄
