The KHS Future Links Careers Expo was once again a fantastic success, providing our students with the opportunity to explore a wide range of future pathways and career opportunities. Students engaged with representatives from universities, TAFE, the Defence Force, engineering industries, and a variety of professional services, gaining valuable insights to help shape their future goals and aspirations.
A huge thank you to all of our stallholders for sharing their expertise and helping make the event such a meaningful experience for our students.
A special thank you to our dedicated Careers Adviser, Ms Theodoris, for her outstanding work in organising this event. Her commitment and hard work ensured our students had access to quality information, guidance, and support, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future education and career pathways.

Year 10 student Tamara recently completed an incredible week of work experience at Taronga Zoo! During her placement, she gained hands-on experience caring for exotic and native bird species, assisting with food preparation, stock-taking, and bird counts. A highlight of the experience was helping release birds back into the aviaries. Congratulations to Tamara on developing valuable skills in animal care and conservation — students interested in Work Experience opportunities can see Ms Theodoris for more information.

Proud of our Kingsgrove HS U16 Boys Rugby League team who competed in the St George Rugby League 9s Gala Day, promoting awareness of Domestic Violence and the importance of safe support services. The boys defeated Kogarah HS and Peakhurst HS to progress to the Grand Final, conceding only one try all day. In the final, Kingsgrove HS defeated Bayside HS in a strong defensive performance, keeping their opponents scoreless. The team were outstanding ambassadors for Kingsgrove HS, showing respect, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. Well done boys!
