Congratulations AJ! We're very proud of you!
2026 High Performance Squad & Para World Championships Team Announced TBA is pleased to announce the first of its 2026 High Performance Squad selections, alongside the Australian team selected to compete at the 2026 IBF Para Bowling World Championships.
This page was set up so that former students and staff could share memories of the school we love.
We are all deeply concerned and saddened by recent events.
Admins have received abuse because we are 'not doing anything to solve the problems at the school' 🙄 and accusing us of 'condoning' bullying. 🙄
That is not our purpose or reason for being. Abusers will be blocked!

On 17 Feb, 1987, KNHS student Phil Alley was selected to play first grade cricket for St George District Cricket Club, Sydney.
'Alley was a left-arm fast bowler. Standing at 208 cms tall, he is believed to be Australia's tallest first-class cricketer. He played 31 First class cricket and eight List A cricket matches for New South Wales and South Australia between 1989 and 1998. He took his best first-class bowling figures of 5 for 24 in the Sheffield Shield final in March 1994, to help New South Wales to an innings victory.' (Wikipedia)

CHRIS FELEMEGAS
The local community of Kalythies in Rhodes is in shock following the death of 48-year-old Chris Felemegas, a beloved Greek Australian bouzouki player from Sydney who had been living in the village.
Chris is being remembered as a man who brought joy, music, and kindness into the lives of everyone he met. Friends and relatives in both Rhodes and Sydney describe him as warm, generous, and charismatic —a devoted friend and talented musician who embraced life and the community. His passing has left a deep void, and the Greek Australian community mourns the loss of someone whose spirit and generosity will never be forgotten.
A memorial service is going to be held for him this Sunday, 12th October.
Irene's family have been touched by the comments on this page, and have asked to share details of her memorial service.

Irene Dunn was a P.E. teacher and sports' organiser at Kingsgrove North during the 1980's and 1990's. She was known for her passion for her work, her strength and athleticism. Sadly, we have learnt of Irene's tragic passing in a hiking accident in Turkiye.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Wayne Rowntree. Wayne was a much loved music teacher at KNHS during the 80s and 90s. His contribution to the culture of the school through Star Search, Multicultural Days and mentoring of students was unmatched. Vale Wayne.
