At level-up, starting from scratch and delving deep into the theory and the WHY questions, is super important, because it allows for the student to actually understand what they are doing and how it works out mathematically! This also reduces the awful phenomenon of “maths anxiety”, which we all know too well 😳😳

At level-up, we like to mix and match different teaching methods and activities to suit the unique needs and learning styles of our students. In this case, the mindmap activity incorporated and engaged aspects of a kinaesthetic style of learning, as well as visual!

I am very lucky to have been able to work with a student as bright and gifted as Noah. Not to mention, his bubbly personality, which made our lessons all the more enjoyable! Sanjey was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout year 11 and 12. He came to me with some concerns in English skills and analytical tasks, but he worked very diligently, which, paired with his optimism and drive to succeed, allowed him to soar to his full potential and achieve this incredible result.
