De-bunking the crazy rules of exponential functions in Year 11 Advanced Maths!
At level-up, starting from scratch and delving deep into the theory and the WHY questions, is super important, because it allows for the student to actually understand what they are doing and how it works out mathematically! This also reduces the awful phenomenon of “maths anxiety”, which we all know too well 😳😳

Using the whiteboard to make a giant mindmap of themes in a new text!
At level-up, we like to mix and match different teaching methods and activities to suit the unique needs and learning styles of our students. In this case, the mindmap activity incorporated and engaged aspects of a kinaesthetic style of learning, as well as visual!

Levelling-up the winter wardrobe 🤭 Hope you’re all staying nice and warm!!

I am very lucky to have been able to work with a student as bright and gifted as Noah. Not to mention, his bubbly personality, which made our lessons all the more enjoyable! Noah absolutely smashed his HSC, also achieving first place in his school, out of more than 100 students. Fantastic work! 🤩🤩🤩

Another
Sanjey was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout year 11 and 12. He came to me with some concerns in English skills and analytical tasks, but he worked very diligently, which, paired with his optimism and drive to succeed, allowed him to soar to his full potential and achieve this incredible result. Students like Sanjey are the reason I do my job and love it so much. Great work! 💙

Sudhi worked incredibly hard throughout her time with me and her dedication and consistency definitely show in her amazing results. I am so incredibly proud of her and cannot wait to see what this year has in store for her as she starts uni!
