NATIONAL FARM TOURISM SURVEY

Tourism Australia has commissioned the National Farm Tourism Survey to better understand the current state of farm tourism across Australia. The survey is open to farmers offering visitor experiences, including farm stays, paddock tours and cellar doors. Insights gathered will help establish Australia's first benchmark for agritourism and its value to farmers, families and regional communities. The survey is open now until the end of August.

TOURISM SPENDING HITS NEW HIGH IN NSW

NSW has cemented its position as Australia’s number one tourism destination, welcoming 129.3 million domestic and international visitors in the year ending March 2026.

Domestic visitors spent $46.6 billion, while international visitor expenditure climbed to a record $15.2 billion, 36 per cent higher than pre-pandemic levels.
