Our playgroup is open for children aged 1 to 4 years.

Sessions will take place every Thursday during the school term at various locations in our local area.

Each session runs from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A parent or guardian must attend with each child.

Each week, we will connect with nature through activities such as bush walks, spotting local wildlife, making bush crafts, enjoying creek play, using real tools, playing in our mud kitchen, singing songs, reading stories, and enjoying a shared morning tea.

This is a wonderful opportunity to chat and connect in a relaxed environment.

As our Monday group embarked on a new adventure exploring Fingal - The place of the echidna, they were lucky enough to sight one of these magnificent marsupials first hand. The children eagerly observed the echidna forage around it's natural habitat and were ignited with wonder and curiosity ✨

♻️ Clean up Australia Day ♻️
Whilst developing awareness of the environment and building respectful partnerships with the community, our GC groups participated in multiple clean up tasks to help care for country and learn about the effects rubbish can have on our waterways and marine life.

🚨🐚⚠️ Caution: Cone Snail Alert! ⚠️🐚🚨
For anyone enjoying exploring the rocky platform at Hastings Point, be aware of this highly venomous Cone Snail - The Textile Cone. It was recently spotted higher than its typical habitat. The rocky shore has sand beginning to fill up some of the deeper sections of the channels and pools. As this happens, animals that generally dwell a bit deeper are forced to the surface to escape the suffocating sand. This is one such critter! It can shoot a highly venomous dart to immobilise prey but also in self-defence. 🚷 DO NOT PICK UP!
