Congratulations to the participants who recently completed Classroom Profiling Level 1 training at Carlisle Adventist College in Mackay. π
A special thank you to Carlisle Adventist College for hosting the training and welcoming participants from Sarina State High School and State High School.
One of the great strengths of Classroom Profiling is the opportunity for educators from different schools and contexts to come together, share perspectives and engage in professional conversations focused on improving teaching and learning.
Over the two days, participants developed their understanding of the Classroom Profiling Framework, explored the Essential Skills for Classroom Management and strengthened their capacity to observe, analyse and reflect on classroom practice.
We wish everyone well as they begin putting their new skills into practice and look forward to supporting them on their Classroom Profiling journey.

Confession time... total fan-girl moment! π€©
One of the unexpected highlights of the QSPA Conference was hearing from Scott Pape, the Barefoot Investor, and having the opportunity to meet him afterwards.
Scott's keynote focused on the importance of financial literacy for young people and the role schools can play in helping students develop the knowledge, habits and confidence they need to navigate life beyond the classroom.
It was a timely reminder that some of the most important lessons we teach aren't always found in a curriculum document. Helping young people make informed decisions about their future is a powerful part of preparing them for life after school.
And yes... I absolutely asked for a photo! π

Connecting with leaders. Sharing ideas. Strengthening practice.
Last week, Classroom Profiling was proud to attend the Queensland Secondary Principals' Association (QSPA) Conference as a Gold Sponsor.
Over three days, we had the privilege of connecting with secondary school principals and educational leaders from across Queensland, engaging in conversations about teacher growth, instructional leadership and the ongoing work of improving outcomes for students.
One of the greatest strengths of conferences like QSPA is the opportunity to learn from one another. Every conversation provides valuable insight into the challenges schools are navigating, the successes they are celebrating and the innovative approaches being used to support teaching and learning.
A sincere thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, shared their experiences and took the time to connect with us. We are grateful to be part of such a passionate and dedicated educational community.
Thank you to QSPA for hosting another outstanding conference. We look forward to continuing these important conversations throughout 2026.

π¬ Lights, camera, action!
Today, Janet is on location at Bli Bli State School with our brilliant content creator, Daniel O'Carroll , capturing authentic classroom footage to help us build even more Classroom Profiling resources for members.
There is a huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes to create high-quality professional learning materials, and we're excited to be adding new video examples and support resources to our growing library.
A big thank you to the staff and students at Bli Bli State School for opening their classrooms and supporting this important work. Your willingness to share practice helps strengthen Classroom Profiling for educators right across Australia.
We can't wait to share the finished resources with you!

Connecting with school leaders. Sharing ideas. Strengthening practice.
Last month, our Lead Accredited Facilitator, Janet Thomson, represented Classroom Profiling at the Queensland Association of State School Principals (QASSP) Conference, connecting with primary school leaders from across Queensland.
Conferences like QASSP provide valuable opportunities to discuss the realities of school leadership, professional learning and the ongoing work of improving outcomes for students. Every conversation helps us better understand the challenges schools are facing and how Classroom Profiling can support teacher growth and instructional improvement.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experiences, share ideas and be part of the conversation about quality teaching and learning in Queensland schools.

Congratulations to the Fortitude Valley State Secondary College team on completing Classroom Profiling Level 1 training! π
It was a pleasure working with such an engaged and enthusiastic group of educators. We look forward to seeing the impact of this work as staff begin putting their new profiling skills into practice.
Thank you for having us.
π Investing in great teaching.
Seven of our staff participated in a Classroom Profiling Classroom Profiling professional development this week, which equips teachers with the tools to observe, analyse and provide evidence-based feedback on classroom interactions and engagement strategies.
By examining real-time classroom practice, our teachers continue to refine their craft, support their colleagues and strengthen learning experiences for every student.
We're proud of our staff for embracing opportunities to learn, grow and continuously improve.
