More pics from our Fire Brigade visit. The Children are wanting the Firies to come everyday !!

THANK YOU to the Kingaroy Fire Brigade who came to visit us this morning. They brought their Big Red Truck and their Yellow Bushfire Truck for the children to look at and use their water hoses. So much fun and excitement. I will post more photos as the day progresses. Just posting this one to start with - Cuteness Overload!

Today we held our Graduation Ceremony for our Class of 2023 Kindergarten Children. With end of year excitement and Christmas, we decided to hold their graduation in the New Year. Miss Kirby and Miss Shaana organised a lovely Ceremony for the Children where they were each awarded with a Certificate and received a Back Pack full of stationary for their new school adventure plus a personal gift of love from Miss Kirby and Miss Shaana (notebook and special pencil). They then shared a beautiful cake with their families before heading off to their next adventure at Big School. Childcare can be a hard job some days, but days like today make it all worthwhile. Knowing that you helped to shape the life of a little person and then watch them progress to their next life challenge is so very rewarding. We thank all of our Families for choosing KELC for your Children's future.

Reminder to all our Families that we are closed from 6pm this afternoon (very soon - woo hoo!) and don't reopen until Tuesday 2nd January, 2024. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of our Families and we look forward to sharing a properous New Year with you all.

Our Pre/Kindy Children painted some Christmas baubles to display at the Kingaroy Hospital. We did not know this was a Competition, we just did it from our Hearts. Well, guess who got Second Place in the Competition. !!!!! So Proud!

The end of year is coming around so quickly. We are still as busy as ever and our Educators are "soldering on" just waiting for our much needed break beginning on Friday (4 days, but who's counting). Our Kindy kids are dancing, the Vacation Care kids are making Grinch's out of wooden spoons, our Infants are finger painting and our Toddlers are eating/socialising. Life is good at KELC !!!
