Sub Zero temperatures had ice forming on our windscreens.

The flying was very good as a result. Four pilots went Kingaroy/Biggenden/Childers return best was 377km at 113 KPH 6 to 7000ft with 3 to 8 knot climbs.

Flights are on Weglide.

This weekend saw a dedicated team completing a form 2 and instrument upgrad on the club Duo VH- KDX.
Now let's go flying.

Attention All Kingaroy Pilots!!!

Launches are available at Kingaroy weekdays from now until Sunday, 2nd August, with pilots flying every day.
Take advantage of this opportunity to get some hours and currency.

Last November, Kingaroy Soaring Club were privileged to host the cast and crew of Farmer Wants A Wife! 🌾👨‍🌾🐮
As part of the home town dates, local farmer Jason took his date Logan on a scenic glider flight around Kingaroy, and we even flew over his Coolabunia farm!

KSC were delighted with the segment which aired on national TV last night! Thank you to the FWAF production team, it was a pleasure having you.

An immense amount of planning and organisation goes into a filming day like this, so thank you to Ray, Lisa, Georgo, Neil, Sophie, Aidan and club members for their time and expertise.

The 2026 KSC AGM didn't disappoint,we had it all.

A short AGM Meeting was followed by nibblies and gliding stories at the bar.

An amazing three course gourmet meal prepared once again by our ultra smooth running KSC kitchen team was enjoyed by everyone.

The awards and presentations took place between courses which is always entertaining.

Lastly our very own one man band Aiden Curtis played hit after hit entertaining us all till late into the night.
A wonderful evening had by all.
