On Monday 31 August, our incredible Year 12 Visual Arts students reached a very special milestone - they completed and submitted their HSC Bodies of Work!
These artworks represent months of creativity, experimentation, problem-solving, persistence and dedication. Each student has poured their own ideas, experiences and artistic voice into their work, developing their practice and pushing themselves to create something truly personal and meaningful.
We could not be more proud of each and every one of them and they should be immensely proud of what they have achieved.
A very well-deserved congratulations to our Year 12 artists! You did it!

Missing - Ella, Belle, Eva.

Weekly Overview – Week 7 (A-Week)

Monday 31 August – Friday 4 September 2026

β€œIf you see someone without a smile today, give ’em yours.” – Dolly Parton

A fitting sentiment that featured in last week’s 2027 School Captain speeches, and a nice one to carry with us into Week 7.

With the HSC Trial Examinations now complete, our Year 12 students move another step closer to the finish line, with HSC Visual Arts Bodies of Work due on Monday. It is also a busy assessment week across Years 7, 9 and 11, alongside Year 10 VALID testing and our regular wellbeing and mentoring programs.

On Wednesday evening, we officially begin looking ahead to the next HSC cohort with our Class of 2027 HSC Information Night, from 6:00–7:00pm. Thursday also sees our Year 11 Legal Studies students heading to the Supreme Court, along with the SSU TAFE Tour.
