🎉 Congratulations to Laila! 🎉

We are celebrating a wonderful achievement as Laila completes her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Throughout her studies, Laila has demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development. Balancing work and study is no small accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved along the way.

As Laila transitions to a casual position with our service, we would like to thank her for her contribution to our team and congratulate her on reaching this important milestone. We are excited to see where her early childhood journey takes her next and are so pleased she will continue to be part of our team.

At KPK, our team meetings are so much more than just meetings 💙

They are a chance for us to come together as a team, collaborate, build on our knowledge and skills, and continue growing together as educators. We spend time chatting, brainstorming ideas, sharing experiences, supporting one another, and of course having plenty of laughs along the way!

Whether we are down on the floor exploring ideas together or discussing ways to create the best outcomes for our children and families, every meeting reminds us how important teamwork and connection are within our KPK family.

A huge thank you to Trent from Priceline Pharmacy Kincumber for visiting our centre and delivering the new nasal flu vaccinations to the children who opted in.

Trent was incredibly friendly, patient, and amazing with the children, helping make the experience fun and stress free. The children were all smiles and laughter from the tickly nasal spray instead of feeling anxious about needles, which was so lovely to see!

We highly recommend Trent and the team at Priceline Pharmacy if you are looking to book vaccinations for your family. Thank you again for such a positive experience for our children and families 💙

Have you met Miss Lana? 🤍🎨

Miss Lana is an absolute ball of fun and never shies away from getting a little (or a lot!) messy! Whether it’s paint, mud or sensory play, she jumps right in alongside the children, creating moments full of laughter, joy and connection.

Experiences like this aren’t just fun, they play such an important role in building strong, trusting relationships. When educators are fully present and engaged, children feel safe, valued and confident to express themselves. Shared laughter during play helps to strengthen these bonds, supports emotional wellbeing and creates a sense of belonging within our learning environment.

This year, Miss Lana will also be celebrating an incredible 5 years with us 💛 Her passion, energy and genuine love for the children shines through in everything she does, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our team.

We can’t wait for many more messy, laughter filled moments ahead!

We’ve been loving all the rain lately! 🌧️

Recently, we set up a collection of different containers under the shade sail to catch the raindrops as they fell. Children experimented with the sizes, shapes and textures of each container, watching how the water moved, splashed and collected.

Rainy days are perfect for sensory exploration, problem solving and just pure joy in being outdoors. Little moments like these show that even a rainy day can be full of learning, curiosity and fun.

There is something powerful about a little dirt and water.

In our mud kitchen, children mix, pour, scoop and experiment. What may look like messy play is actually rich learning. As children explore different textures and combine natural materials, they are developing early scientific thinking, problem solving skills and creativity.

Mud play also supports sensory regulation. The feeling of wet earth between fingers can be calming and grounding, helping children to feel settled and focused.

We value these hands on experiences because learning in the early years should be meaningful, engaging and real. Sometimes the best learning happens with messy hands and big imaginations.

Today we are celebrating an incredible milestone Annabelle’s 5 year work anniversary. Over the past five years, she has been a valued and trusted member of our team, always showing dedication, care, and professionalism.

Annabelle has continually stepped up, supporting her colleagues and going above and beyond for our children and families. Her commitment and willingness to take on more has not gone unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our service.
