In preparation for NAIDOC Week, we seized the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the rich heritage of Australia's indigenous peoples at the end of last term, culminating in a vibrant display of decorated boomerangs that will inspire and educate our community when it goes on show early next term.

Today we acknowledge the passing of Neale Daniher, a proud former student of Assumption College Kilmore, our sister Marist school.

Through his leadership of FightMND and the Big Freeze, Neale showed a nation what it means to face adversity with courage, humility and hope. He lived out St Marcellin Champagnat's call to make Jesus Christ known and loved, not through words but through a life of service.

We stand alongside the ACK community and the wider Marist family in this time of sadness, and we hold Neale's wife, children and grandchildren in our prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.

We are hiring a Deputy Principal (Operations).

This is a senior role on our leadership team at St Patrick's Primary School Kilmore. Permanent, full time, commencing 13 July 2026.

You will work alongside the Principal across operations, HR, compliance, risk and property and will be a leader within our Marist community.

We are looking for someone with at least five years in a similar role, current VIT registration, RE accreditation and a genuine commitment to Catholic education.
