This Friday I will be closing a little early (3:00 to be precise) because I have been invited to be a presenter this Friday evening for their Pecha Kutch (Japanese for chit-chat) event. Super exciting!

It is wonderful that Soverign Hill is so passionate about supporting makers, artisans and tradespeople who are the guardians of handcrafts and rare trades here in Australia. So, along side glass artist Ruth Allen - Glass Art, bell and clock maker Anton Hassell, textile fabricator Elizabeth Harvey and costume maker Naomi Holden I will be sharing my passion for my craft as well as the beauty of Australian timbers.

Everyday is a special day when you get to work with musical instruments however some days are just that little bit more special. Was so excited to have the opportunity to work on this amazing beauty from the ‘40s and bring it back to life.

It is with great excitement that we can announce the lifting our voluntary closure. With numbers as they are we feel confident that our opening will not pose a communication risk to Kilmore or the surrounding areas. As of Thursday 10am The Guitar Room will once again be open for trade. Come in and say hi if you are passing by. Just make sure you are wearing a mask and are prepared to show that you are indeed from regional Victoria in line with Government regulations.

Thank you to everyone for their continued support and for the conscientious behaviours of everybody in keeping this situation at bay.

Our guitar lessons have become so popular that we are pleased to announce that we will be opening Wednesday evening lessons (and possibly Friday evening) to cater for the demand.
Perhaps it's the pleasant space to play in. Perhaps it's the wonderful teachers. Perhaps it's because music is such a great way to escape. Whatever the reason you choose to take up guitar lessons at The Guitar Room you won't be disappointed.

Thrilled to announce that we have two new guitar teachers joining The Guitar Room. Stephanie Perkovic and Max West both come with an enormous range of playing and teaching experience. This means that we are now able to offer playing lessons on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - afternoon and evening time slots.
