We have an exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated guitar teacher to join our team at The Guitar Room. The position is offered on an ongoing contract basis in historic Kilmore.
The Guitar Room, established in 2019 is a locally owned dedicated guitar space that has developed a reputation for friendly, thorough service and expertise in guitar tuition for the growing community in and around Kilmore. less than 1 hour North of Melbourne C*D.
The successful applicants' duties will include teaching half hour duration one-on-one lessons, lesson preparation, liaising with parents on student progress, setting goals/objectives with students.
All administration (ie booking students, timetables and payment) is organised by The Guitar Room staff on your behalf.
Required attributes:
• Applicants with previous teaching experience will be highly considered.
• Must be able to read tab (ability to read notation is of benefit)
• Friendly, down-to-earth and professional at all times.
• Confident interacting with students and parents of all ages and abilities.
• Reliable, organised and punctual.
• Tidy, professional presentation.
Required licenses & certification:
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• ABN (Australian Business Number)
Availability requirements:
Four days a week - Monday to Thursday (5:00pm to 8:30pm) Teaching hours allocated are subject to student enrolment.
