We're proud to see World Music Day in Killarney Heights and our inaugural Battle of the Bands featured by the NSW Department of Education!

The story highlights the incredible talent and strength of the music programs at local public schools, and the power of our community to come together to create a vibrant cultural event.

From three stages of live music to the Battle of the Bands, thousands of visitors enjoyed a day that celebrated music, culture and community, while raising valuable funds to support the P&C, music programs, and the FANS French bilingual program at Killarney Heights Public School.

A huge thank you to every performer, volunteer, sponsor, staff member, conductor, and family who made the day possible. Together, we showed what public schools and passionate communities can achieve.

🎶 World Music Day 2026 — WHAT. A. DAY. 🎶

Our 5th Annual World Music Day in Killarney Heights was our biggest yet and we are still smiling! 😄

1,000+ people came through the gates on Sunday, with families from right across the Northern Beaches and North Shore joining our KHPS community for a full day of live music, food, rides, activities and community joy. 🎸🥁🎤

Three stages. 10 competing bands. One packed school hall. Tombola sold out by 1:30pm. Baked goods? Gone. BBQ sold out! Crapes? All sold and eaten. Boeuf Bourguignon? Delicious and sold out. Raffle tickets? All 461 sold.
