JAM Music Showcase 2026! 🎶

Congratulations to all of our wonderful students who performed in today’s JAM Music Showcase at Forestville RSL. It was a fantastic afternoon of music, and every performer should be incredibly proud of their hard work, preparation and courage on stage.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents, families and friends who attended. We deeply appreciate your support of this important event on the JAM calendar.

A special thank you to JAM Founder and Co-Director Nic James Jeffries, who flew in from Adelaide especially to emcee the event, and to all of our incredible tutors for your ongoing hard work and dedication in preparing your students for today’s concert. It was fantastic to hear so many great performances across such a wide range of instruments.

A huge thank you to all of our JAM students for your hard work, commitment and wonderful music-making this term. It has been fantastic to see so much progress across the school. 👏🎵

Carrie has been such a valued member of our teaching team, bringing warmth, care and encouragement to her students each week. We’re so grateful for everything she has contributed to the JAM community.

🎶 JAM 2026 Music Showcase 🎶

We’re excited to announce our 2026 Music Showcase, taking place at Forestville RSL Club on Sunday 30 August 2026, from 2:00pm–4:00pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity for JAM students to perform a piece of their choice in front of a warm, supportive audience — and every student who performs will receive a prize on the day! 🏆

Whether your child is performing for the very first time or is already confident on stage, the JAM Music Showcase is all about celebrating progress, confidence and the joy of making music.

🎶 Flute lessons now available at JAM! 🎶

We’re excited to introduce Kayla Lush, our wonderful flute tutor at Jeffries Academy of Music.

Kayla is a passionate and caring educator currently completing her Bachelor of Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she has studied with James Kortum and Geoff Collins.

With experience across solo performance, school band repertoire and ensemble playing, Kayla brings a warm, supportive and engaging approach to every lesson. Her teaching focuses on helping students build strong flute technique, musical confidence and practical skills they can apply across both school band and solo repertoire.

Whether your child is just starting out, preparing for school band, or looking to develop their flute playing further, Kayla creates a fun and encouraging learning environment where students can grow at their own pace.

Founded in 2017, JAM’s mission has always been simple: proper teaching, real musicianship, and inspiring students to become the best young musicians they can be.

Based in Killarney Heights on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, JAM offers expert private, semi-private and group music lessons across piano, guitar, drums, singing, brass, woodwind, percussion, bass guitar, double bass and more.

Both Nick and Guy hold Bachelor degrees in Jazz Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and are highly experienced guitarists and educators.
