The Importance of Imaginative Play

Imaginative play is so much more than fun and games. Through pretending, creating and exploring, children develop important skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity and emotional understanding.

Whether they're running a café, exploring outer space, or caring for a baby doll, children are learning about the world around them while building confidence and independence.

💗 PINK UP October at NCC Early Learners Kilcoy 💗
Throughout October, our children and educators are proudly supporting PINK UP and helping raise awareness for an incredible cause within our community.
The children will be participating in a range of pink-inspired experiences, creative artworks, and discussions about kindness, community, and supporting others. We love providing opportunities for our children to be involved in meaningful community events and initiatives.
A special thank you to Pink Up Kilcoy for allowing us to borrow these beautiful pink wings, which are now proudly displayed in our foyer for today only. They have brought so much excitement and colour to our service and are a wonderful reminder of the community spirit behind this important month.

Healthy Eating at Our Centre

There’s nothing quite like watching friendships grow through play! Through role play, our little learners practise sharing, taking turns, using their imaginations, and working together. From cafés to home corners and everything in between, special friendships are formed while learning valuable social skills along the way.
