🌟 Spirit of Wakakirri! 🌟

What an incredible night for our students at Wakakirri! 🎭✨

Our students were sensational, taking to the stage with confidence, energy and enthusiasm and showcasing an amazing performance that made our school community incredibly proud.

We are thrilled to share that our students were awarded the Spirit of Wakakirri Award! 🏆

This award recognises a school that truly embraces the spirit of Wakakirri — celebrating participation, creativity, teamwork, enthusiasm, resilience and the joy of performing. It recognises students who get involved wholeheartedly, support one another and create a positive and inclusive performance experience.

Our students demonstrated all of these qualities in abundance. Their commitment, energy and genuine enjoyment shone through from start to finish. 💙

A huge congratulations to our wonderful performers and a very special thank you to the staff and families who supported them throughout the journey. What a fantastic achievement! 👏🌟

🟢 FACT: Reading familiar books builds fluency, confidence and comprehension. Repeated reading is one of the best ways to become a smooth, expressive reader.

What a fantastic Day 2 for our Kiama PS Year 3/4 girls! 🙌🏉

The girls continued to give it their all, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship out on the field.

We were so proud of the way they represented Kiama Public School throughout the Champion of Champions tournament. 🌟

This is such a well-deserved recognition of the incredible contribution Sabrina makes to our school. Sabrina gives so generously of her time, energy and expertise to support our students, our families and our wider school community. Her commitment, care and passion make a genuine difference to the lives of so many.

We are incredibly thankful for everything Sabrina does for Kiama Public School and are thrilled to see her contribution recognised at a state level. 💙

And if that wasn't exciting enough… Sabrina has also made the front page of the paper today! 📰✨

Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition 2026 Regional Finals

Congratulations to Olive and Elsie on reaching the Regional Finals of the 2026 Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition, held at Jamberoo Public School.

Competing in the Years 3–4 and Years 5–6 divisions, both girls presented a prepared speech before tackling an impromptu topic, putting their confidence and quick thinking to the test.

While they didn’t progress to the next round, reaching the Regional Finals is an outstanding achievement. They represented their school with pride, courage and determination and should be incredibly proud of how far they have come.
