As NAIDOC Week is coming to a close, we encourage our community to take the time to continue to listen, learn and engage with the stories, knowledge and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This spotlight is just a small selection of the many books, podcasts and community events that celebrate and share First Nations cultures, histories and perspectives.

If you have a book, podcast or local resource you’d recommend, we’d love to hear it in the comments so we can continue learning together. 🖤 💛 ❤️

🖤 💛 ❤️ Always Was, Always Will Be.
As NAIDOC Week begins, our school and training community pauses to celebrate the rich history, and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. For tens of thousands of years, they have been the original innovators, storytellers, and keepers of knowledge on this land.
Education is more than just textbooks and qualifications, it is about listening, understanding, and honouring the truth of our shared history. This week, we commit to listening a little deeper, learning a little more, and celebrating the deadly strength and resilience of First Nations communities.
To our students: May you always feel proud of who you are, where you come from, and the bright futures you are building.
