I have recently completed an Advanced PRO Level 2 tennis coach Qualification and am ready to give back to the sport I love again. I have played tennis competitively as a strong competition player since the age of 13. I have played at a high level both here in Australia and in the UK when I lived there for two years. I originally coached under Stuart O'Shaunessey who now coaches as one of the head

coaches in Wollongong at Complete tennis Beaton Park. I have also successfully coached students as a High school teacher in the Public and Catholic school Systems. I have helped steer school tennis teams to become Diocesan State Champions twice and managed and coached school high school Open teams at the Australian School Teams challenge held in Albury NSW. I love to inspire people to become better players but most of all to just have a great time on- court playing this brilliant game which you can play all of your life!

Congratulations Lewis and Corpus Christi boys tennis team who won the regional Catholic schools tournament again this year defending their title against Edmund Rice. Considering Lewis was quite sick and had a sore foot it was a great effort only losing one singles 5-6. Off to the state finals in Bathurst now where they came a v cost third last year.

Congratulations Lewis Phipps who won three out of the four matches he played at the NSW country open in Wagga Wagga winning his first two singles matches on the open men's and 18 and under events as well as the first doubles he played with Daniel L before they both had to withdraw with injuries which was a shame. Also a successful but tough battle in one of his singles winning 7-6, 6-7 and 10-8 at the start which was a real rollercoaster of a match!! Still a great effort as this is the first time in an opens higher level tournament Lewis has beaten 2x players higher ranked than him as second match was a 6-3, 6-3 win against an even tougher opponent. Nice pb!

Congratulations Lewis from onestoptenniscoaching who won the Wollongong open j125 16 boys singles as well as being a runner up in the Men's doubles with Daniel l! Grateful for some cash, as well as the two trophy prizes! Was nice receiving these from my old coach Stuart O'Shannessy and his son Adam.
