World of Learning Kiama World of Learning provides long-day care and a NSW Government-approved preschool program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Our approach to early childhood education and care centralises the child as an active agent in their own learning, valuing the individual identity each child brings to our child care and early education centres. Located at 58 Hillview Circuit, we serve families from Kiama, Kiama Heights, Jerrara & Rose Valley. Our purpose-built centre features lush outdoor play gardens, shaded verandahs, bike tracks and open indoor rooms filled with natural, sustainable resources. Our passionate, long-standing team delivers an engaging curriculum with a strong focus on music & movement, STEM, sustainability and school-readiness. From the child who pointed at pictures in a book to the one who acts out the whole story with their friends.

Every child arrives here with gifts the world hasn't seen yet. Our job is to create the conditions where those gifts begin to show themselves. What an extraordinary privilege that is.

Child development doesn't happen in isolation and at our World of Learning Centres, we know that the partnership between educators and families is one of the most powerful factors in a child's outcomes.

This Early Learning Matters Week, we want to acknowledge our families. Your involvement, your conversations at drop-off and pick-up, your willingness to share your child's world with us, it all makes a difference.

When families and educators work together, children thrive. That's not just our belief. It's the evidence.

At World of Learning Cartwright, NAIDOC Week is a meaningful opportunity to honour the rich history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while encouraging children to learn about and appreciate the world's oldest continuing cultures.

Through meaningful conversations and learning experiences, children are supported to develop respect, curiosity and a deeper understanding of First Nations perspectives. These moments foster connection, inclusion and a sense of belonging within our learning community.

We encourage everyone to take part in NAIDOC Week by attending local events, listening to First Nations voices, and recognising the rich traditions, knowledge and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Together, we can continue to learn, reflect and walk forward with respect.

Hear it from one of our own families.
They've been part of our community, and they've seen the difference our educators make every single day.
Their story speaks louder than anything we could say.

It doesn't mean anything is broken. It just means today was a lot.

50 Years of Deadly β€” what does that theme look like inside our learning spaces? πŸ–€β€οΈπŸ’›

It looks like a child carefully listening to a Dreamtime story. It looks like an educator answering 'but why?' with patience and honesty. It looks like a group of three-year-olds learning a word in language and repeating it with delight.
