Year 3s go to Melbourne Arts Centre 🎭

As part of our Performing Arts program, organised by Mrs Noy, students enjoyed the live stage adaptation of You & Me and The Land of the Lost Things by Andy Griffiths at the Melbourne Arts Centre.
This experience connected beautifully to their learning about facial expressions, emotions, and soundscapes.
They then soaked up the sunshine with lunch at the Royal Botanic Gardens before heading home after an awesome day of learning and fun!

SCIENCEWORKS EXURSION

This week, our Year 2 and Year 4 students had a fantastic day at Scienceworks, connecting their Inquiry learning about space with hands-on experiences and discovery.
Highlights included the Planetarium, where students explored the wonders of the night sky and learnt about how the Earth's tilt creates our seasons, as well as the many interactive exhibits and games that sparked curiosity and excitement.
A fun-filled day of learning, exploration and wonder! ✨🌏

Our Year 3s had a fantastic day at the Melbourne Museum! 🦋

Our students had an incredible (and new!) experience exploring life cycles through the Bugs Alive interactive workshop, Bugs Alive exhibition and a 3D butterfly migration at IMAX. These experiences directly link with the Term 2 Inquiry topic, Life Cycles of Plants and Animals. Everything ran smoothly, and we even enjoyed a beautiful hour of lunch outside in the sunshine ☀️

We are so grateful for our students having this opportunity for learning and discovery!

📅 PREP 2027 TRANSITION SCHEDULE 📅
To our prospective families enrolling for next year, we have 6 sessions available for our 2027 Preps to come and start their transition into BIG SCHOOL!
These sessions are HIGHLY recommended to help your child settle into school routines and become familiar with their new setting. It also helps our staff get to know them as well!

Treat your child to a warm slice of pizza on a cold winter’s day. Pizza and juice boxes will be available for purchase for students.

In support of the Salvation Army's Red Shield Appeal, Chandler Park is collecting donations to support families through the upcoming winter months.
All items must be new and can be given to the front office.
