Camden Haven High School

Camden Haven High School Our school is a purpose-built integrated comprehensive school which offers two modes of learning: face-to-face and distance education.

We aim to provide a caring, safe and happy environment so students can learn and develop as individuals. This page shows the unique experiences of our school from a student perspective. These opportunities will help our school community understand the valued opinions, ideas and beliefs of our students. We strive to maintain an informative hub to the various members of the public and in doing so tr

y to promote our three PBL rules while communicating: respect, responsibility and doing your best. In saying this, our aim is to encourage appropriate language and communication between our page's members. Should the administrators of this page deem something inappropriate (eg. offensive language, personal attacks, general discrimination), they have the right to remove it.

๐Ÿ”ฌ Wrapping up a Stellar Science Week at CHHS!

National Science Week 2026 has been a fantastic week of discovery, exploration and experimentation across the school!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Space Night at the Port Macquarie Observatory. Students enjoyed spectacular views of the night sky, explored meteorites and minerals, and learned more about space. Our Year 8 leaders also did a fantastic job visiting Laurieton Public School, running hands-on experiments and inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Back at school, students have been growing crystals, making slime and bouncy balls, and engineering amazing Rube Goldberg machines!

Stay tuned for the winners of our โ€˜Guess the Microscopic Imageโ€™ and โ€˜Joke of the Dayโ€™ competitions. Thank you to our whole school community for making Science Week such a success! ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ’™ National Action Against Bullying Week

This week, we celebrate our commitment to creating a safe, caring and inclusive school community.

As an eSmart accredited school, we run regular positive programs that encourage students to recognise bullying, be upstanders and live our school spirit: WE CARE STARTS WITH YOU.

This Friday, weโ€™re bringing everyone together for LUNCH ON THE LAWN with a sausage sizzle, music and plenty of positive vibes! Students will be encouraged to BE A MATE, NOT A BULLY and spread kindness by sharing gratitude cards with their peers and staff.

Small Actions. Big Impact. Caring Starts With You.

๐Ÿ‰ RUGBY LEAGUE MEDIA EXPERIENCE!

Last week, Year 9 student Riley Fowley had the incredible opportunity to head to the Gold Coast for an immersive rugby league media and journalism experience.

Working behind the scenes alongside professional media staff, Riley gained a firsthand look at what goes into covering rugby league at the highest level. A big thank you to Mrs Gilbert, the English Faculty and the PERLA team for supporting Riley and helping make this unique opportunity possible.

Stay tuned โ€” Riley will be sharing a full report on his experience soon! ๐ŸŽค
