A huge congratulations to Nick on booking his next short film!

Nick joined Prompt Side after taking some time away from acting, and it’s been incredible watching him throw himself back into the craft. Week after week he shows up prepared, open to direction and committed to improving. That kind of consistency is what builds great actors.

Our Intro to Film Acting Technique course is designed to give you a strong foundation in truthful, screen-based acting. Another Intro to Film Acting Technique course done and dusted. 🎬

What a great group.

Over six weeks we watched these actors make some huge leaps, not by learning tricks, but by learning to trust themselves, understand circumstance, and connect truthfully to the work.

That’s what this class is all about.

We intentionally keep our class sizes small because it means every actor gets the time, direction and individual attention they need to grow. It’s a slower approach, but we believe it’s the right one.

To everyone who trusted us with your craft over the past six weeks, thank you. We loved working with you and couldn’t be prouder of the progress you made.

Our next Intro to Film Acting Technique course starts in just 2 weeks, and we’d love to welcome another group of actors into the room.

What a weekend. 🤩

We just wrapped up our 2 Day Cinematic Acting Intensive and honestly… we loved every minute of it.

This group came ready to work. They trusted the process, challenged themselves, took risks and, most importantly, had some incredible breakthroughs. Watching actors move away from “performing” and into truthful, connected work is why we do this.

Seeing those performances come to life on camera after two days of rehearsal, direction and discovery was something pretty special.

A huge thank you to every actor who committed so fully to the weekend. Your focus, generosity and willingness to be vulnerable made it an absolute joy to facilitate.

We genuinely love what we do, and weekends like this remind us why.

Our Intensive Scene Study Masterclass is designed for actors who are ready to commit to the work and push their craft to a professional level.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll work deeply on a scene from some of the world’s greatest plays, guided by NIDA graduate and working actor Brett Archer.

This isn’t about rushing to the result.

It’s about living with the work.

Discovering new layers each week. Learning to trust your process. Developing the stamina to stay truthful, connected and present under pressure.

Then, after seven weeks of rehearsal and refinement, you’ll step in front of the camera with an industry DOP to film your scene as a cinematic showreel piece capturing work that has been earned, not manufactured.

Grounded in the techniques of Howard Fine and Uta Hagen, this masterclass is for actors who are serious about their craft and understand that great performances come from rigorous preparation.
