We are getting excited for the course to start on Monday 13th January. Please check the lecture rooms as they have recently changed. Also note that the lecture theatre on Monday is different to the lecture theatre used for the rest of the course (Tues - Fri).

We are looking forward to meeting you all next week. Moodle will become live at the during the first day of the course.

If you’re feeling motivated this Australia Day how about conducting a STATIC-99 on this man. Obviously you don’t know all of the information but you can still have a go.

Any thoughts on this? What type of offence should be subjected to these restrictions (any s*xual offence against a child, or just the most severe)?

An Australian law barring registered child s*x offenders from international travel had an immediate impact when it took effect on Wednesday, stopping a convicted pa******le and turning him away from Sydney Airport.

The debates were great today. An excellent job by all - well done. We were really impressed and thought you all made excellent and reasoned arguments. Well done!

Good luck with the reflection assignment (due on Friday) and I hope that the groups continue the awesome work in the group assignment.
