It’s Week 8, and a lot is happening across the school!

Our Year 1 students have an excursion, our Year 4 students have an incursion, and on Friday we have Footy Colours Day for a gold coin donation.

We will also be celebrating our Mass for Fathers from 12:40pm for our Foundation to Year 2 students.

It’s shaping up to be another busy week at St Therese’s!

That's a wrap! Book Week 2026 in the 'books'.

Our students had a blast all week with our pop-up library, guest readers at break time, Book Fair, Night at the Library and of course today's parade and celebrations.

Thanks to all staff for getting involved, in particular Miss Karla the master organiser! Our students are so lucky!

We're blessed to have a great community at St. Therese's that get around important events like these - thank you!

We are looking for any old odd socks that can be repurposed as soccer balls.

To support the work of Catholic Missions we are making soccer balls out of socks and material to raise awareness of the experiences of children around the work who live in poverty.

Please check your draws, and the bottom of the laundry basket of any lone socks, and send them to school by the 31st of August.

Happy Friday!

Here are a few images from the Catholic Athletic Championships yesterday. We couldn't snap them all, but our students achieved success on the track, and off. Feedback from the day was overwhelmingly positive about the way St. Therese's students represented themselves and our school - with humility and determination. Well done and thankyou to all participants!

We were also fortunate to have students break competition records in the 800 metre and 1500 metre events. Congratulations! We wish those students moving onto the Division athletics all the best! 👏
