Today our Kindy children enjoyed a wonderful Bush Kindy excursion at Kenmore State School, engaging in active play, nature exploration, and meaningful school‑transition experiences. The children climbed, balanced, collected natural treasures, and connected with the environment while building confidence in a new school setting.
These outdoor learning moments support resilience, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging as our children begin to explore the spaces they may transition into next year. It was a beautiful morning of discovery, connection, and joyful learning.

At Goodstart Kenmore Princeton Street, our natural outdoor environments play a powerful role in supporting children’s wellbeing. Across our three large, shaded yards Nursery, Toddler and Senior children are welcomed into spaces that feel calm, familiar, and deeply connected to nature.
Our natural play spaces help children settle confidently each day. The gentle movement of trees, open grassy areas, soft sensory zones, and opportunities for quiet exploration create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and ready to engage. These spaces encourage children to regulate their emotions, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of belonging.

Today our Kindergarten children enjoyed a wonderful Sewing Incursion with Farmer Megan from Dragon Field Farm, exploring creativity, design and sustainability through hands‑on learning.
Using recycled fabrics, children learned how to operate a pedal‑powered sewing machine, building confidence, coordination and pride as they created their very own recycled shoulder bags.
Farmer Megan guided the children with patience and encouragement, helping them understand how everyday materials can be reused and transformed into something new. This experience strengthened our sustainability journey and inspired children to think creatively about caring for our environment.
We loved seeing their focus, joy and excitement as they stitched, designed and created something truly unique.
