Warrior Way 2026 is now done and dusted!

A recap will happen soon - but it was an amazing experience especially the Warrior Day on Saturday - celebrating 45 years of Zen Chi Ryu!

A massive highlight was that Shihan Tim Reilly was able to present a 12 seater bus to ZCR Kempsey, which was made possible through Vivid Indigenous Services!!

This amazing gesture - will make such a difference within our dojo, for our families, for our Community - supporting our students to attend various events such as tournaments, grading camps and other events! Our students and families are just so grateful and so blown away with this massive gesture.

We are humbled and appreciative!

On tomorrow - open to all our current students to participate - it will be a great event and opportunity to train with exceptional ZCR martial artists.

For any past student of Zen Chi Ryu - we would love for you to come on down, have a catch up with us and be apart of our 45 year celebrations!

For our current students and their families - bring a gazebo, chairs and a plate of food to share with everyone for a sausage sizzle lunch!

See you all tomorrow!

Its that time of the year where we start to prepare our team for the AMAC Australian Titles in Sydney!

We will be starting to kick off our fundraising journey, to help reduce the cost of travel, accomodation and entry fees.

We are starting with selling Cadbury chocolates - so if anyone is able to sell a box or two at your workplace or to their family and friends let me know. We should have these at the dojo within the next week.

We are also seeking any business that would like to sponsor us - please get in contact. We have a great social media prescence on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok so we would be very happy to promote your business through these outlets! So get in touch if this something you would like to support.

Warrior Way 2026 is fast approaching and we have had many of our high grade students and Instructors training in preparation for our Black Belt Grading and Training Camp.

I always like to look back on our Black Belt Candidates - to remind everyone, that we were all once white belts and have all been on this journey!
