Hi I'm Lorraine and my service is to provide child care for parents/cares who would like to have a night out or a weekend away. Objective: To provide quality care that's fun and interesting in a safe environment. For parents to feel secure in knowing that they have a professional child carer looking after their children. About me: I have been in the child care industry for (6 years). I have lived

in the Macleay Valley for 20 years. I have always been actively involved with the education and well being of children and their families. My social and friendly nature means I have a knack of connecting with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and value the task of maintaining continuity of professional child care. I have sound communication and interpersonal skills. I inform parents/carers of activities of the day by showing evidence by photos and/or work completed by the children. I have worked with children that have Autism and ADHD, I work with the daily routines and guidelines set out by the parents/cares to maintain continuity for the children. I encourage children to perform tasks by themselves to promote confidence and independence. I help children with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, eating, sleeping and to use good hygiene practises. Provide guidance on children's behaviour and social development. Provide fun and interesting activities for all children in a safe environment. Prepare meals and snacks and fulfil nutritional needs of the children. Deliberate with the children on what activities they would like to do.

Normie Rowe, Billy Thorpe, and Stevie Wright were instrumental in shaping the Australian rock scene during the 1960s and 1970s. Normie Rowe emerged as a pop sensation in the mid-1960s, renowned for his dynamic stage presence and powerful tenor voice. His 1965 double A-side single "Que Sera Sera"/"Shakin' All Over" became one of the most successful Australian singles of the decade, selling over 80,000 copies and topping charts across major cities.

Billy Thorpe, initially known as "Little Rock Allen," gained prominence with his band, Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs. In the 1960s, they achieved success with hits like "Poison Ivy" and "Mashed Potato," contributing to the burgeoning Australian rock scene. Thorpe's influence extended into the 1970s with the release of "Children of the Sun," a space-themed album that garnered international acclaim and solidified his status as a pioneering figure in Australian rock.

Stevie Wright, often referred to as "Little Stevie," was the lead vocalist of The Easybeats, Australia's first international pop star. Their 1966 hit "Friday on My Mind" achieved top chart positions in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, marking a significant milestone for Australian music on the global stage. After The Easybeats disbanded, Wright pursued a solo career, with his 1974 single "Evie (Parts 1, 2 & 3)" becoming a number one hit in Australia.

Collectively, these artists not only achieved commercial success but also laid the groundwork for the evolution of Australian rock, influencing countless musicians and leaving an indelible mark on the genre.

Australian Seasons in a Nutshell..👈

Summer: The sun tries to roast you, ice cream melts instantly, and everything wants to kill you.

Autumn: Weather roulette—hot, cold, wet? Who knows. Your wardrobe is confused.

Winter: Cold but no snow (except in the mountains). Windy. Magpies start plotting.

Spring: Allergies, magpie attacks, and wild temperature swings.
Welcome to chaos...😆
