Eastwest French classes

Bonjour tout le monde!

Just wanted to let you know that since I am leaving the country I am actually giving away some of my french books and magazines. Was originally going to sell it to the Alliance Francaise but I figured some of you guys might enjoy having them more. There is everything from children books to more advance books including a few books to learn french I used to teach and tutor. Let me know if you are interested or would like to have a look.

I am very sorry but I am stuck in bed being very sick today so I won't be able to come and teach the french class. However I will do a class next week during the break to catch up on this week as well as to do the pronunciation exercise I mentioned last week. We will meet in front of the usual classroom next week at the same time and probably all go together into the botanical gardens (if the weather allows it) for an outdoor class.

As promised I will be continuing teaching French this semester as well. Classes this semester will be held in Gardens Point M301 from 11:00 to 12:00 every friday.

For those we weren't here this week it was decided that we would go to Chouquette this Sunday at 9:00 am.
For those we don't have a car we will be meeting at King George Square at 9:00am and leave at around 9:15 to go to Chouquette by bus. Otherwise if you have a car and would like to meet us please come meet us at Chouquette directly at around 9:30.
This is just a nice casual way for all of us to go out together and enjoy a classic french breakfast while providing you all the opportunity to order in French ;)

Just a reminder that we do not have class this week due to Anzac day but as mentioned last week I will be running just a casual outdoor pronunciation class outside in the botanical gardens tomorrow at 12.
We will be meeting at 12:00 (wednesday) in front of the QUT sign at the entrance of GP and go from there. If you have a text or some words you would like to practise bring them along otherwise we will just practise normal conversations and words.

I just heard back and confirmed we don't have class this Thursday unfortunately!
So I will be seeing you all next week for a new and great class! Don't forget to find a verb and put it to the three times given during the last class.

As we are entering into the busy period of the semester, Next week (the 29th of October) will be our last class for semester 2 (east west language classes stop during the exam block).
I thought of organising maybe one more trip to Chouquette after the exams for everyone to get together. We will decide on a date during our next class.
