LEARNING ENRICHMENT CENTRE |

Our Year 10 ASDAN Science students have been exploring the physics concepts of tension and compression through a bridge design challenge. Students designed, constructed, and tested pop stick bridges to investigate which structures could support the greatest load. 🙌

Our Year 9 students enjoyed a hands-on Career Taster experience at North Metropolitan TAFE, exploring creative pathways through jewellery making and letterpress.

Students created their own silver rings and a range of cards using traditional presses and stamps. They also toured the fashion and ceramics labs, developing new skills and getting a taste of the creative industries. 👏

Celebrating 37 years of JWACS! 🎉

Our School was bursting with festivities today! This morning, we gathered for a Whole School Service to honour our past, celebrate our community, and look forward to our future. 🙏

Further celebrations featured two highly anticipated annual JWACS events:
🏆 The Wollaston Dash - won by Charter House💚💪
🏆 The Principal’s Cup - a tightly contested staff vs students volleyball match, this year won by our Year 12 students! ⭐️ 👏

Thank you to everyone involved for making 2026 a Founders’ Day to remember. Wishing all in our community a safe and blessed weekend. 🫶

Hands-on learning in Year 3!

Students created their own playdough as part of their How the World Works inquiry into states of matter. This transdisciplinary learning experience connected Science, Mathematics and Literacy through procedural texts. Students then used the playdough to construct 3D shapes, developing their understanding of shape, structure and geometric properties.👏
