There’s something so special about children preparing real food with their own hands 💛🍌

Yesterday, our little chefs enjoyed making homemade banana bread, gluten free and refined sugar free! From mashing bananas to mixing ingredients and carefully pouring the batter, every step supported independence, concentration, coordination, and confidence.

In Montessori, practical life experiences like cooking help children develop important life skills while fostering a sense of responsibility and joy in contributing to their community. And of course, the best part was sharing and enjoying the delicious banana bread together ✨
