It was great to have the Dentist visiting us at our service. All the eligible children got a chance to have their teeth checked out.

Today in our Starfish Room , it was amazing to see how our children made their own choice to represent the Olympic rings after they had a discussion. Children played different games of their own choice,developing on their social skills on the special day of "Friendship Day".

There was so much fun in our babies' room today. Children were busy in kitchen corner, taking turns cooking , serving,cleaning, and so much communication was going on.

Such an amazing way to celebrate Naidoc week with Rainbow Eagle.An amazing Didgeridoo Puppet Show with the story of the sparkle children connecting the elements of nature.

Through children’s discovery from talking to the animals, they learnt that all creature, big and small are apart of the cycle of mother nature.

With the Didgeridoo, the children were inspired to listen, to breathe deep, and to feel the ambients of this ancient instrument.

Rainbow Eagles story telling had a simple message of living as a community, with the values of sustainability.

A message that we are all caretakers of the land, through picking up the rubbish and being in our hearts the land will share its beauty.

The children together planted bushtucker plants and veggie seedlings in our front garden.

The theme honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture – we at TreasureCove ELC were fortunate to get involved in fire ceremony "a symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities."

Another fun day with Soccer Joey's .All the children enjoyed dribbles and tried to make goals and celebrated their achievement.

Another great incursion with Beyond the Beanstalk team. Children made their own flying devices. Children were very excited about their creativity, which allowed them to experiment with aerodynamics and understand how wind can be used to achieve flight.

We have a doctors desk in our Starfish room.Children learn to develop different perspectives and emotions by taking on the role of doctor and patient. They are able to express their emotions, which teaches them the importance of communicating their feelings. Thus, doctors pretend play aids our child's emotional and social development.

Another great day with the Soccer Joey coach. Children had lots of fun,involved in running,jumping and body blanching exercises along with dribbling the ball between the cones.
