Eisteddfods are the perfect platform to polish stagecraft, vocal technique and perform in front of an audience.

HIGHLY COMMENDED - CHARACTER SKETCH IN COSTUME
Congratulations to ANGELIQUE for achieving a Highly Commended Award in the Ryde-Eisteddfod which was 4th placing from a large section of 12 competitors. She portrayed the character of the 'Evil Queen' from Snow White.

Angelique has enjoyed reward for effort this week, also receiving FIRST PLACE in the MEMORISED VERSE section for her recitation of 'Late Night Shopping' by Annette Kosseris.

What a talent!

Congratulations to sisters, SHARANI and KISHANI for achieving FIRST PLACE in the 'Poem for Two' section of the Ryde-Eisteddfod.

The girls demonstrated vocal unity, precise timing and movement to present a lively performance of 'The Airport' by Annette Kosseris.

Chance Creative Speech and Drama student, OLIVIA, is preparing for her Senior Grade Four ASCA Exam. As part of her literary research she had the amazing opportunity to speak with one of Australia's leading Authors, Jack Heath. It was an insightful and lively discussion. Thank you Jack and well done Olivia!
