1. Following a training program that is specifically personalised to me and my goals — no more Insta or ‘winging it’
2. Not relying only on motivation — sometimes you’ve got to do things when you’re unmotivated, be your own reason for showing up
3. Making sure I refuel my body after my workouts — to get the most out of my intense sessions, I need to give my body the fuel it needs to absorb those adaptations
4. Tracking my training — know where you started, what you did last week and what you’re aiming for this week
5. Be aware of where you’re at in your menstrual cycle — your hormones and PMS symptoms play a HUGE part in your training/capacity, be aware of where you’re at and what you can give

I made the mistake, Queens, so you don’t have to!
1. Not following a customised training program
2. Believing that if I just continued to do the same thing every single day without progression, I’d keep my results

4. Training x6-7 days a week without adequate recovery in between
5. Believing I could do it all on my own (wink* wink* I needed a coach)

Every day things I was doing that stopped me from becoming strong AF
1. Not fuelling my body properly before my training sessions - no fuel = no intensity
2. Not tracking my weights and reps during each session
3. Changing my exercises & training program every 2-3 weeks
4. Half assing my sessions - pushing to failure, going that 1-2kg heavier, that’s what gets you strong
5. Worrying that if I lifted weights to get strong, I’d get bulky
6. Not using my warm-up sets properly
7. Winging my training - not following a program that was specific to my goals, my experience & my time
8. Trying to fit too many exercises into one session
9. Not fuelling my body to help me build muscle
10. Only showing up in training when I wanted to
