What a memorable excursion for our Year 4’s at the Museum of Brisbane! Students explored life during the First Fleet and convict era, handled historical items like tools and chains, and created their own maps on traditional-style paper. A meaningful, hands-on way to deepen their understanding of Australia’s history.

📚 NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORY TIME 📚

On Wednesday the 3rd June we celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime, coming together in the MPC to enjoy Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller. Our talented staff brought the story to life with a fun performance, with students joining in as the cheering crowd! The excitement continued at lunch with a Staff vs Students penalty shootout… and the teachers took the win! ⚽📚 A huge thank you to Mrs. Tonya Muir and Mrs. Shelly Martin for making it happen!

ZONE 6 CROSS COUNTRY

What an amazing effort from our students at Zone 6 Cross Country! Back in week 4, over 50 students represented our school with determination, pride and outstanding sportsmanship at Zone 6. A big thank you to our supportive families—and well done to everyone on a brilliant overall 3rd place! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🐍🦎 YEAR 1 SCIENCE 🐊🐢

Our Year 1 students have been doing incredible work in science, exploring different animals and their habitats. A few weeks ago, they enjoyed an exciting hands-on animal incursion, where they got up close with a variety of creatures—including reptiles, snakes and even crocodiles!

This real-life experience helped bring their learning to life and inspired them to create wonderful animal habitat dioramas, showcasing their understanding in such creative ways. 🌿✨

🇮🇹 FESTA DELLA REPUBBLICA 🇮🇹

On the 2nd of June, our students enjoyed learning about Italy’s national day with special guests from the Italian Learning Centre and even learnt a traditional Italian dance. A sea of green, white and red made the day extra festive!
