This photo was taken back in 2020 as I celebrated two years of Sweet As Co. on International Women’s Day. Looking back, I’m so proud of how far this little cupcake dream has come 💫

I’ve included some of my favourite creations over the years. It was hard to choose, but each of these brought me so much joy to make👩‍🍳🧁✨

A little trip down memory lane… 💕

I started baking in 2018 to curb my sweet tooth cravings and quickly rediscovered a talent I’d first uncovered in Home Economics at high school, turns out acing cake decorating wasn’t a fluke!

The pink flamingo cupcake was one of the very first cupcakes I ever made, and from that moment I was hooked. What started as a hobby became Sweet As Co. a creative outlet, a passion, and eventually the opportunity to teach others the art of decorating too 👩‍🍳

To me, decorating cupcakes is more than baking. It’s edible art, a chance to slow down, create something beautiful, and bring joy to others👩‍🍳🧁💕

So to now be nominated for the 2026 ACADA Cake Oscar Award for Cupcake Artist of the Year feels incredibly special 💕
