A sweet set 🩵

Is it a teenage rebellion thing… girls suddenly deciding they LOVE blue?! 😂💙

Because apparently pink is out and blue is very much IN! 💙

Who else has a tween who is obsessed with blue? 🙋‍♀️

Gender reveal 💙💕 Any guesses?

I’m predicting a girl, but Dad is staying tight-lipped! 🤐

I can’t wait to find out! 🎀💙

PSA for my fellow cake makers!

Since taking a break from baking and heading back to full-time work, I’ve been sourcing local cake talent for customers far & wide.

And I’ve discovered something… 🤔

It’s SO easy to find cake makers on Google, but sometimes ridiculously hard to work out WHERE they’re actually located! 😂

📍 Cake makers ~ put your location in your bio AND on your website!

I totally get not wanting to advertise your home address, but at least give us a suburb or general area. Make it easy for your customers! 🧁💕

And if you’re not showing up on Google get someone to show you how to optimise this (P.S. I know someone who can help!)

Or am I the only one who struggles with this?! 😂

Cake makers ~ what do you do?

Of course, it had to happen on my last cake! 😂 The toppers didn’t arrive in time, so I had to grab these at the very last minute. It was definitely a little too pink & feminine for a little boy ~ and I totally agreed!

It’s another reason why I always send my customers a photo of their cake before they pick it up. Sometimes you need to see it all together to realise something just isn’t quite right!

We ended up adding some more black fondant spots and got this little cowgirl/cowboy back on track! 🐄🐎✨

And yep 👍 Of course, the cutest toppers that were meant for this cake arrived first thing Monday morning🤦‍♀️🙈😩

Either way, I loved this cake ~ and I loved my customer even more for being so understanding 🩷

The oven mitts are officially off! 👋🏻🎂
