RopeLab Promoting a better understanding of the fundamental principles of rope rigging. RopeLab is commercial entity founded by Richard Delaney in 2014.

RopeLab offers expertise in a wide range of rope related activities including: Industrial rope access, Rope based recreational activities (abseiling/rappelling, rock-climbing, mountaineering, canyoning/canyoneering), Vertical rescue, and Rigging. Richard Delaney has worked and played in this field since 1992 and now focusses on advanced instruction and facilitating a better understanding of the fundamental principles of rope rigging.

A close look at what happens when multiple ropes are placed over traditional edge rollers.
The short version: If you run multiple ropes over standard edge rollers then even subtle differences in stretch can reduce the efficiency drastically.

7-8 May 2022, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

I can’t quite believe it’s time to travel again but, it is!!!
And I am super excited about it.
