Well… this is awkward 😅

First things first — sorry for the complete disappearance.
We didn’t ghost you… the page got archived 🤦🏼‍♀️
Thanks to a lot of digging, time, and perseverance, we’ve finally managed to get it back — and judging by the views rolling in, some of you are still here 🥹

We’re also keeping this page.
Not to relaunch or post regularly — but so I (Emma) can download and save all the photos and memories from over the years. Between new phones, new laptops, and life moving fast, I unfortunately lost a lifetime of memories. Getting this page back took time and patience, but it means I can finally preserve them properly 💜

So… life update time.

Back in early 2020, I (Emma) officially retired from trick riding.
Life changed — as it does — and unfortunately years caught up with me. After a lot of thought, we made the decision to retire not just me, but also Romeo, Pop, and Oscar.

The boys are now happily retired together, living their best (very fat) lives out in a 100-acre paddock back in Australia, lovingly cared for by my mum and dad 💜

Since then… a lot has happened.

I met the other love of my life….Brodie 🥰 and we got married!……and then came the biggest plot twist of all…

👉 We moved countries.

Yep — we’re no longer living in Western Australia.
We now call Texas, USA home for my husband Brodie’s work with Martin Saddlery…
Yep. That one 😉

Don’t worry — Australia still has my heart.
I travel back and forth between Texas and Australia to visit family and friends during that short time whenever I can ✈️💕

And while trick riding may be behind me, I didn’t exactly slow down…

I’ve found a new adrenaline rush — one that doesn’t require a chiropractor 😂
I’ve turned my hand to drag racing.

For those unfamiliar:
blink-and-you-miss-it speed, full throttle, raw reaction time, and controlled chaos — measured in seconds and won in thousandths. 🏁🔥

I currently race the car I’ve dreamed about since I was a teenager — my daily driver…. A Chevrolet Camaro —
and we’re currently building my actual drag car, a 1973 Datsun 240Z.

Different arena.
Same love for horsepower, adrenaline, and doing things a little differently 💁🏼‍♀️

Just a reminder our fun day registration forms need to be back today so we can cater for those attending.
The weather looks like its going to be kind to us and we're in for a great weekend.

This photo still makes us laugh and one of the reasons Emma runs such a good hippodrome. She learnt pretty quick when to duck and there's been times during performances where she's had to with overhanging trees etc.
We promise no sprinklers at the fun day though🤣

Is your child an upcoming star ?
Fallin’ Up Trick and Fancy Riding is looking for a child to star in their new video.
Requirements :
Child between the ages of 7 and 10
Nice happy smile.
Must be able to canter on a horse (not pony and yes there is a difference)
Must be brave and confident on a horse and around horses.
Photogenic and like the camera and not be afraid of having their photo/ video taken.
Training – this is where you come in mum and dad .We will provide training however the child must attend training sessions at least twice per month from our home base in Katanning.If you can’t commit to this please don’t apply.

Parental Permission must be given for use of all photos and video for promotional purposes.If you don’t want your kids face spread across the social media platforms then please don’t apply .The child may be required for other promotional purposes such as events.

Please understand we are looking for a certain “look” for this ,if your child isn’t chosen it’s not because they aren’t pretty enough ,ride well enough etc it’s purely because it’s not the look we are looking for at this time for this particular project.

Send us your child’s photo and a short description of their riding ability and history.Please do NOT send a ton of photos or videos.At this stage we just want to see a shot clearly showing their face.
This is a volunteer position however the bonus is you get to learn some tricks.

Candidates will be shortlisted and contacted to attend an audition.

Recent lessons.
A Christmas surprise for two girls was a weekend of trick riding with Emma and they came out recently do their thing.
Way to go Mum and Dad for giving such a different gift for Christmas.👍
The girls by the look of the smiles on their faces for the day had a ball and of course Pop was the perfect gentleman as always taking care of his young charges.

With Emma due to return from Queensland next week,
Fallin' Up is running a "Come and Try Fun Day " on the long weekend in March.
Take advantage of the long weekend and join one of our classes running on either the Sunday or Monday 1 & 2nd of March 2020.
Two classes on each day are available
One from 9 am to 12pm and one from 2-5 pm .
You can book for either or do both classes on one day or book for both days.The choice is yours.
Our trick riding is designed to be progressive so if you are booking for both classes on both days then we take up where you left off the previous day being forever mindful that different students progress at different rates.
Horse and Gear Supplied and one on one attention from our instructors.
Come for a fun day with lots of laughs and we promise you'll leave with a smile on your dial.

Location : Katanning (just a 2.5 hour drive from Perth in the beautiful great Southern region of WA).

Those wanting to do both days can camp over.
You're welcome to bring your caravan or roll out a swag or accommodation is available in Katanning.

Class cost is $90 for one class ,all day $150.
Both days $240 per person.
One spectator free to attend with you and have lunch,morning & afternoon tea provided,extras $25 per person.
Morning and afternoon tea is provided and a sausage sizzle lunch.

Limited spaces. Bookings essential.
